For New Patients Our Ten-Point Dental Check-Up

Generally we only see patients who have arranged an appointment. This can be done by telephoning 0121 687 8882, or by visiting our reception. If an appointment has been made and not kept without sufficient notice, a fee may be charged. Please try and give as much notice as possible for cancellations.

Our normal hours of opening are:
Mondays to Thursdays: 9am to 5.30pm
Fridays: 9am to 1.30pm

Dr Abhi Pal holds evening surgery on most Wednesday evenings.  

 
Emergencies

An emergency in dental care is normally considered as toothache or dental pain, swelling, prolonged bleeding after extraction, problem with a front tooth affecting appearance or other conditions for which the patient is unable to wait for the next routine appointment.

During opening hours we will try and give patients with an emergency an appointment as soon as we can, although there may be a wait.

Outside of working hours (and upto 9 pm), the number of the emergency dental services may be obtained by phoning into our Practice on 0121 687 8882. The details of our OUT OF HOURS services are as follows:

We now have two types of Out-of-hours emergency services:

1. NHS Direct will provide limited dental emergency service for all patients (NHS and private) upto 9 pm every weekday evening and on weekends and Bank Holidays. Treatment provided by this service will be limited to relief of pain, swelling, infection, bleeding and trauma. The telephone number of NHS direct is 0845 46 47 .
2. We also provide a more comprehensive private out-of-hours service for all patients (NHS and private) upto 9 pm every weekday and weekends. This is a private service for which there will be a call-out fee of £120 plus treatment costs. Patients enrolled in Denplan will be able to avail this service free of charge. This service can be accessed by telephoning 07737 150263.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR ARRANGEMENTS

The practice will be closed and will re-open on Monday January 4th 2010 at 9AM
